Jay-Z is well known for being a business man, that is how he has built his empire.  Someone forgot to relay that to Boston Red Sox baseball player David Ortiz .

Big Papi decided to open a club in the Dominican Republic, and he named it the Forty-Forty club, which is the signature  name as Jay-Z’s 40/40 clubs.  Only difference, Ortiz decided to spell out “Forty-Forty”.

Now the two are in a New York court slugging it out over the 40/40 name. I get why Jigga would protect his “brand”, but if you’re a baseball fan than you would know that a 40/40 title is reserved for an elite group who have hit 40 hommers, and have 40 stolen bases in a single season.
