He literally shut down the area for 18,000 fans in the middle of the Rockefeller Plaza, with NYPD deciding to close down  48th & 49th street, which they’ve never done before. Yesterday the Today Show tweeted that the Line for the concert, that started on Wednesday, extended down 5th avenue which has only happened for  [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruce Springsteen[/lastfm] in 2007,[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Coldplay[/lastfm]  in 2008 and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] in 2010.  They updated their twitter today and verified that Chris Brown attracted the biggest ‘Today Show’ crowd ever.
