It’s been over 10 years since the last release from the late Aaliyah, when her “I Miss You” album full of previously recorded material was put out shortly after her tragic death. It seems though that there is still some music yet to be heard by her fans that could makes its way out, by the help of Drake.

Drizzy stated earlier in the year that he wanted to put out a collaboration album using previously recorded material from Aaliyah. Now it seems as though Drake is executive producing a new Aaliyah album! Unless…..

Former friend and producer of Aaliyah, Timbaland, spoke out about the possiblity of a Drake produced album, and was not so hip to the idea. Timbaland said, “I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy (Elliott)” when he spoke to MTV News about the album. “The proper way for him to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. The best decision, what the fans would want to see is all three of us. It can’t be something to make money off of ’cause I think it’s wrong to make money off the dead.”
