Packing for life on the road must get confusing for Havana Brown. She’s from Australia–where it’s currently winter–yet she’s on tour with Pitbull in the U.S. where it’s still summer. This predicament begged the question, which season does she prefer dressing for: summer or winter?

In a recent interview with Energy 103.7/San Diego the Australian singer confessed that she enjoys winter fashion best.

“Summer wardrobe I prefer to wear but with winter you can do a lot more with it,” she said. “I’m a summer girl, I don’t like winter. I don’t like cold weather but the layering: big hats, beanies, scarves and coats over jumpers (Australian for sweaters). You can do a lot more with it all.”

The self-professed summer girl said though she loves summer, there isn’t much to do to accessorize a summer outfit.

“With summer it’s just a little dress and that’s it. There’s not much you can do. You can’t layer that up,” she said. “Definitely winter fashion is much sexier.”

With all her winter accessories, Havana confessed that there is one make-up item she won’t leave the house without.

“I know this sounds really stupid, but just lip balm. When your lips are dry there’s nothing worse than that, you know? I get a little obsessive over lip balm.”
