Thursday night, members of the cast of the “Jersey Shore” are stepping up along with other celebrity guests to raise funds for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. MTV will air the one hour special, “Restore the Shore” on Thursday, November 15th.

The special will encourage people, nationwide, to contribute to the rebuilding of Seaside Heights, the heart of the Jersey Shore and home to the reality show of the same name.

Vinny Guadagnino checked in to promote the event and discuss how Sandy has affected, not only the Jersey Shore, but his hometown of Staten Island.
