It has been three years since the Jonas Brothers called it quits but the real-life brothers continue to remain supportive of each other’s musical careers. In a new interview with #legend, Joe Jonas discusses his career with DNCE as well as hints at a possible reunion with his brothers.
“One day it will make sense to do something together again but, right now, we’re still focused on our individual careers and that’s what’s really important to us,” the DNCE frontman tells the publication.
While Joe is touring with Selena Gomez overseas, brother Nick is performing with Demi Lovato. Recently, Joe made a stop on his brother’s tour to reunite with Lovato and sing “This Is Me” and “Gotta Find You” together.
As Nick enjoys the solo artist life, Joe says he prefers being in a band. The slight difference of opinion and separate music careers haven’t kept them apart though, as the two brothers recently moved in together. Meanwhile, Joe admits that he is the interior decorator of the family.
“I’m actually really glad that he’s let me take the reins on that,” Joe says of Nick allowing him to decorate their place. “We get to support each other through a lot and I think that’s most important. For us, we need that support, it’s not always easy for us to be in this crazy world. We have a lot of friends that are in this industry and it’s what keeps us sane. It’s something that can drive someone crazy.”
