Jack White from the White Stripes took his wife Meg’s last name when they got married. His maiden name was Gillis.  (Do you call it a “maiden name” for a guy?)

“Old person smell” is real. There’s a chemical called 2-nonenal that’s created by other chemicals in the body breaking down over time.  Old people secrete 2-nonenal, which produces their smell.

Sour Patch Kids were created in Canada in the 1970s. They were called Mars Men and they were designed to look like aliens.

The word “mob” comes from the Latin “mobile vulgus.” That SOUNDS like something sexual . . . but really means “fickle crowd.”

Michael Phelps doesn’t just hold a million swimming world records . . . he has a GOLF one too. He holds the world record for the longest televised GOLF PUTT.  He nailed a 159-foot putt for eagle on live TV during a celebrity tournament in 2012.
