John James

John James started his radio career in Honolulu, Hawaii at the age of 15, working weekend overnights on-air and as a Board Operator on an AM News Talk station. John realized his love was for audio production and decided to get into station imaging. At 18 he became the full time Imaging Director for Hot 93-9, Island 98.5 and Star 101.9 in Honolulu. In January 2006, John was the Imaging Director for a group of 7 radio
stations in Honolulu, oversaw the production department, and was on-air at 3 radio
stations.

John received a call from KLUC PD Cat Thomas to take on a challenge of Imaging/Production Director of 98.5 KLUC Las Vegas. 4 years later, John is the Imaging & Production Director for 98.5 KLUC and two other CBS Radio Las Vegas sister stations (KXNT-AM / KYDZ-AM), and can also be heard on occasional air shift.
